| Welcome
to the University
of British Columbia's Amateur Radio Society Homepage.
The
UBC Amateur Radio Society is a non-profit, student organization
governed by UBC's Alma
Mater Society. Our mission is to divulge Amateur
Radio as a hobby to students, faculty, staff and our community.
We
are home to the Internet
Radio Linking Project (IRLP). Pioneered by our club
member Dave Cameron (VE7LTD), it is a project to link repeaters
around the world through the use of internet. Currently
there are over 1000 nodes and the number is increasing rapidly.
For more information, please check our projects
page.
If
you have any questions or comments about our website, or
if you're an old member - we'd like to hear from you! Please
